These wildebeest were trotting in a neat row in the Ngorongoro crater, a 260 sq. km unbroken volcanic caldera. As this picture was shot on the crater floor, you’re probably looking at the western white-bearded wildebeest, more commonly known as Connochaetes taurinus mearnsi.
