A journalist bought it as a ruin. It was originally built for a prosperous local
merchant at the beginning of the 19th century. Now it is a very nice Russian hotel.

Probably not a typical Russian hotel room. Well travelled
locals would say it’s not even typical for St. Petersburg.

Britania, Lisbon, Portugal ****

From the outside it’s hard to tell that the Britania is one of the best hotels in Lisbon.
