The building dates back to 1878. It once housed a bank and later Estonia’s telegraph company.
Bedrooms look quite traditional. In fact, most of the hotel is quite traditional.
The bathroom: I would have described it as small but rather functional
with a funky mirror, had only the hot water been more reliable.

The pool area is by no means gianormous but it’s quite nice to hang out there,
before a treatment, (or after). Access to this area is free for hotel guests.
Probably the nicest locker area I’ve seen. Ever. Ash wood rarely looked so nice.

If you manage to avoid the conference guests, this lounge is a relaxing place
where there’s always a fruit buffet available in the daytime.
I’m surprised that not more places in Sweden are going for this concept: A very shallow
pool where the water is hotter than you’d expect. Perfect for cold winter days!

Amman by night. This is what it looks like from the 14th floor of the Le Royal Hotel.
Staying at the Le Royal means staying in a 34-storey tower with a rather spacious interior design (picture shot from the lobby floor).
